THQ cancels InSane

THQ has decided to cancel work on work on Guillermo del Toro’s next-generation horror trilogy, InSane.

The publisher announced the news this evening, as well as revealing the it has handed the InSane license back to film director Guillermo del Toro, who had been working on the project in a consultant capacity at Volition.

New boss Jason Rubin has certainly made his presence felt since joining THQ and this is yet another decision which he hopes will get the publisher back on the road to recovery.

We could still see InSane in the future of course, but it will need to find a new team since Volation is a THQ studio.
