Konami’s announced that an online title update for Silent Hill HD Collection has been deployed for download via PlayStation Network, however plans for an Xbox 360 version of the fix have been cancelled due to technical issues and resources. The patch is due to fix frame rate issues as well as audio-synching and other reported issues.
It seems a bit unreasonable that Konami are unwilling to fork out to fix the issues with the Xbox 360 version of the game, with the only comment coming from the company being that “Konami apologizes to any players who are continuing to experience these issues on the Xbox 360 version.”
We imagine that apology will not go down well. What would be better was if Konami fixed the game, unless it backtracks tho, we’d imagine Xbox 360 fans will just need to live with the issues.
Could this be the start of a worrying trend?
