Microsoft and 343 Industries has announced today the addition of Multiplayer Specialisations, Halo 4 ‘War Games’ map pass and the final contents of the Halo 4 Limited Edition including a bucket load of digital items to download from Xbox Live.
Halo 4′s new specialisations adds mini-classes to the classes you already have, which all come with 10 levels of unlockable items. These include 9 cosmetic armour upgrades, emblems, weapon skins and customisable visors. Then on the 10th level you’ll unlock a gameplay modifier for you to use against others in the multiplayer. “When we launch Halo 4 in November, that’s just the beginning,” Spartan Ops designer David Ellis told IGN. “Specializations are just another opportunity to make the play experience months and even years after release feel fresh.”
Secondly, Halo 4 War Games map pass provides three post-launch War Games map packs discounted at more than 15 percent, it’s been announced today that players who didn’t purchase the Limited Edition version of Halo 4 will be able to buy this as a standalone download on Xbox Live for 2000 MS points. Also included with the purchase of the War Games map pass is the Spartan-IV “Scanner” and “Strider” helmets, and the “Falcon” in-game emblem.
