505 Games and Rebellion have announced that Sniper Elite V2 on the PS3 and Xbox 360 will gain four multiplayer modes through DLC available later in the year.
The console versions of Sniper Elite V2 , which shipped earlier in the year, was release sans multiplayer modes which caused a some backlash.

Milton Keynes, UK "Following on from its phenomenal chart success across Europe, 505 Games and Rebellion are set to bring full multiplayer support to console versions of hit World War II action game, Sniper Elite V2.

This is in part to say thank you to dedicated gamers for buying our games, and also to say keep an eye out for our next big Sniper Elite announcement!"

The multi-player DLC will be available later this year and will bring players the opportunity to take on all sniping challengers in "Team Deathmatch", "Deathmatch", "Team Distance King" and "Distance King" modes.
