Microsoft reveals first games for Windows 8

Microsoft has revealed a list of the first Xbox titles coming to Windows 8.

Included in the list is an impressive 29 titles from Microsoft Studios, although on a handful are exclusive to Windows 8. Standout title not published by Microsoft include Angry Birds, Dragon's Lair, Fruit Ninja, Jetpack Joyride, and BlazBlue Calamity Trigger.

Windows 8 launches on October 26.

Well this game line up really doesn't give any suprises! Windows 8 is a tablet operating system that just happens to work on PCs.

I've no interest in Windows 8. Good luck to MS though, get the feeling they'll need it. Steam is what sells, not really convinced anyone is bothered about games on windows.

I agree. Why play Games for Windows when you can play on Steam. Not sure what Valve are up to mind you, from that quote yesterday it sounded like some sort of hardware (the new mouse maybe). I don't think its a console tho.

that's exactly what I thought when I read that comment Joe. Maybe they coudl be looking in to some sort of motion tech for PC games? Or a Steam controller? Not really sure what else could be done that hasn't already for gaming keyboard and mouse.
