Treasure Park arrives on Vita today

PS Vita gets a new app today, in the shape of Treasure Park.

Treasure Park basically allows you to create your own puzzle sheet and hide your treasure and medals using PlayStation Near. Friends will then search around, hunting for treasure, so you'll be able to plant bombs to trap them.

It sounds like it could be a nice little addition to the PS Vita and even better, it's available for free.

This does sound a great little app for the Vita and it's nice for Sony to give it away for free. However if Sony intend to shift more Vita's then they really need to up their game on getting out more quality 1st and 3rd party games for it. Take for example the Monster Hunter series of games, probably the biggest seller on PSP to date, and this game alone can shift units.

i have tinkered around with this for a while now, its not that great, its basically mine sweeper and it all depends on "Near" which my friends and randoms around me hardly use, so far i have received 8 maps.........all from the same guy. making maps isn't even fun and add to that theres no real incentive to keep playing and you got a dying app, i think the alarm clock club thingy is going to be better and thats not saying alot!

That's a shame to hear, but then again I have the same problem with Near, nobody uses it! Does it has trophy support? It probably doesn't so is why no one bothers with it. It's a shame that people just don't seem to play games unless they have tropies.

no, no trophies but still even if it had them i think it wouldn't help, you just place pre determined peices of treasure and bombs (almost like tetris peices ) onto a grid which you can customis the colours of only randomise the pattern, its all very locked down and doesn't leave any room for customisation, its a pretty poorly design app tbh
