Nintendo will reveal Wii U price and date tomorrow

Nintendo will reveal the Wii U's official release date and price tomorrow.

We previously reported that Nintendo will host a Nintendo Direct event tomorrow, both in the US, Japan and the UK.

Now, company president Sarou Iwata has posted the confirmation on the Nintendo Japan Twitter account in which he states that Nintendo will be "happy to announce the price and release date and other information of body" for the Wii U.

The Japanese webcast will be broadcast tomorrow from 8am UK time & 9am Central Europe Time. This will be followed later in the day with the UK broadcast at 15.00pm, which should provide more specific details.

We'll bring you the news as it happens.

Thanks, Nintendo Life.

I find it bizarre that it hasn't been revealed already. For the last while, I was convinced it would be released in the very near future. It's only been about a week that I found out they haven't released the date at all

Its a bit odd, perhaps they want to keep it in people's mind.

The pricing of this will definatly be the decider in whether i buy one or not. i bought a wii near enough release date and for the past few years it has been doing nothing except gathering dust in my front room, so dont really wanna be payin too much for one of these.

I'm thinking it'll be over 200 with the fancy controllers and what not
