Capcom has more in store for Wii U

Capcom may have only revealed Monster Hunter 3 Alliance for the Wii U at the moment, however the publisher has more in store for the console.

As spotted by IGN, a post on the Capcom message board from consumer software vice president Christian Svensson, says:

"I have to be careful what I say here as it will surely be overanalyzed and misinterpreted to be more than what I'm saying.

"We have other projects in the works beyond MH3 Ultimate. Unfortunately at this time I can not provide any details. I'm sure as someone who is interested in Wii U and a Capcom-Unity.com member, you won't be able to miss news of future projects when they finally do get announced."

It's hard to say if these projects will be new IP's or form part of an existing franchise. Perhaps it's games which will also be released on PS3 and Xbox 360? Only time will tell.

I'm hoping for an exclusive Resident Evil like Revelations.

Why say anything at all if he has nothing to say?

This could link to so many different titles it's hard to even fathom a guess what it could be referring to. Love the look of the Wii U and would like to get one but unfortunately affordability is getting in my way lol

The problem with Capcom is they are quick to milk a franchise with numerous 'tweak' releases and excessive DLC charges. They also have a habit of using outdated engines and extremely poor game aesthetics to fire out successive sequels.

What's that Capcom? Your finally going to grace us with Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD? Or better yet, some form of new Monster Hunter for the PS3/Xbox?

Great news that Capcom is behind the Wii U. Monster Hunter is a much needed IP and obviously we will see a Resident Evil 6 spin-off down the line too! Just hope the gamepad screen isnt just used as a map because it can obviously do so much more!

Please describe the nature of the abuse:
