Bungee Jump for 2K Games and you could win Borderlands 2

If you fancy heading over to Brick Lane in London this Sunday then you could grab yourself a copy of Borderlands 2, but only if you're willing to bungie jump for it.

Anyone who wants to jump for a copy can do so by visiting Ely's Yard, Brick Lane, London between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Old Truman Brewery, 23rd September.

"We want to provide an afternoon of extreme fun and discover just how psycho Borderlands 2 fans can get. A bungee jump is the perfect way to truly test your nerves and we?re excited to bring the insane pleasure of the game into the real world," said Ben Lawrence, UK PR Manager 2K Games.

If you prefer to keep your feet on the ground, then you could always enter our competition to win one of two copies of Borderland 2. It's a lot safer.

Borderlands 2 is out this week. Pre-order below.

I don't know, if I lived in London I think I might be tempted. I've done a zip wire of the top of a castle before and that was nervy until I done it. Then I just wanted to go again.

I'd do it (I did Sling Shot in Florida which shoots you up over 350ft) but I live too far away :( Who on earth comes up with these promotional ideas though?

If I were in London I would jump the hell off of that crane. Seriously though, in all likelyness I'd whimp out as soon as I saw the thing

There's no way in hell I'll be bungee jumping, but I have some crazy friends that probably will. Might come down to watch who actually jumps

It's times like this that I actually wished I lived closer to London as I'd definitely be up for jumping from anything for a free game haha!

I doubt the bungee rope would be strong enough for me heh. But it's certainly and interesting way to do a giveaway to say the least.

I was going to write something snarky about PR moves and how companies know full well that they can get their devoted fanbase to spend time and energy promoting their product in order to win a few scraps of game-related goodies. Then I remembered that if I make 14 more posts on this site then I'm in with a chance of winning a copy of Borderlands 2. The irony is almost enough to make me take a good, long look at myself. Almost.

As much as I hate hights, I'd do it. It'd make that game so much sweeter and it's a story to tell! Also, the jump is free so you don't get that offer often. And if you do.... I wouldn't trust it ;)

I think it may be easier for me to just buy the game the amount it would cost me in petrol or train fair just to get down there :( does sound fun though

Damn, would love to win a copy, but there's no way I'd do a bungee jump. Too chicken.
