Sweet, will definitely give it a whirl. It'll be nice to play as Leon again.

Just finished playing through all 3 Campaign segments. And I'm still undecided, movements arn't very and its the same with controls. The graphics and gameplay are fine but they need more suspense and scares its still too much action action action. Dishonored is out 10 days after this and its look a much better game so my purchase will probably go on that I'm afraid.

I recently finished the Resident Evil 6 demo with a co-op partner and it was fun and I'm looking forward to witnessing Jake Story, hopefully find out a little more about him and some more info on Sherry would be useful as well :)

Well i played the 'Leon' section and throughly enjoyed it! I had no problems with the controls or aiming..graphically its not as great as Resident Evil 5 which is a bit disappointing..but it certainly had added tension! One major problem is that the game is way too dark..i turned the brightness up in the settings and it made no difference..i dont particular want to mess around with my TV settings as my blacks are inky black and add a realistic contrast.

Definitely going to be giving this a go as need to decide whether its worth even picking up after the abysmal Resident Evil 5, volcano and superman Chris punching boulders... =/

I think the best thing people can do with this series right now is download the old PS1 games onto a Vita and play those. 5 was a romp, no doubt, but that ending, oh boy, what a mess. 6 sadly doesn't fill me with much hope, though I will try out the demo. I do always find myself having fun with the franchise, even if the direction they have taken is far from ideal.

Played through all 3 parts of the demo and quite enjoyed it. A lot of people moan about how Resident Evil has changed and remember them through rose tinted specs. They forget about the terrible camera angles, the awful controls and the nonsensical puzzles. Personally I'm glad RE has changed, I couldn't stand the first ones, not even the Gamecube remakes, only on number 4 did I find them playable, and have enjoyed every instalment since then.

No rose tinted glasses here as I just recently re-played them on Vita/PS3. Sure the angles take some getting used to, but as survival horror they are a far better experience than 5. I do agree though, 4 is still perhaps the best experience as an entire package. Many 'horror' games certainly seem to have moved away from the idea of actual horro, such as Dead Space 3, moving into the action genre due to its larger and more easy to penetrate market and wider demographic such as Resi 5 and now 6. Thats OK, at least with 6 they seem to be really embracing it, hell you can now move and shoot, something thats a massive departure for the franchise and a clear nod from the devs that Resident Evil is no longer a survival horror experience.

Ive recently cracked out my ps1 and re-bought 1,2 and 3 on ebay and the games are as awesome as ever. i think that the leon section of the campaign is focusing on actual proper zombies like before and the other campaigns are concentrating on the newer things, cant remember what their called. i do miss playing the resi evils that are actual zombies and not massive weird biological things, cant complain though because really enjoyin the demo at the moment. i also think that the fact it is now co-op does take some of the scare out of it because it makes u feel less isolated now, and also being able to walk around the corners whilst aiming..

Downloaded it earlier, going to give it a blast when the kids have gone to bed, I've heard mixed reactions from various people about the demo but i also read not to judge from the demo because it doesn't do the full game justice, basically saying the demo is a bit 'meh'. Either way i'm still sticking with my preorder ;)

Im still looking forward to it and will still buy it. its doesnt give anything close to a scare like the originals but games adapt and im not at all dissapointed with this game. might have to leave it a bit before i buy it though with all the other releases coming out around the same time.
