Konami details first DLC for PES 2013

Konami has today announced details of what's to come in the first downloadable content packs for PES 2013.

The first DLC will add three new licensed stadiums from Deportivo de La Coruna, Celta de Vigo and Real Valladolid and 37 new fully licensed kits for teams including Corinthians, Besiktas, Porto, Marseille and Ajax.

The team at Konami have added a new feature widget system that "acts as a shortcut to gathering friends together for online matches and introduces a Ranking system."

Konami says "PES 2013 allows up to eight people to play in a match simultaneously, and the new download adds Community modes, wherein friends can be automatically selected from a pre-determined list, and allows Communities to track and monitor their results,"

"The free update unlocks the Incentives element of the myPES Facebook app, wherein achievements are rewarded and can be shown via the Social Networking service. Users can also now concede a match at half-time, while Master League Online fans will be paired against similarly-rated peers in a new Rival Ranking system."

Another DLC pack will released during October, including all of the recent Summer transfers adding yet more new stadiums, team updates, and online gameplay updates.

Good to see they are being innovative (HT concede) and quick add for communities. Glad it's free, it should be free, it's things that should be in the game that took them longer to dev that's all. As I've stated here and elsewhere in other articles - PES will be a serious challenger next year off the back of the success it will have amongst fans and press this year.

No body can complain about free dlc and I think personally its about im that konami have done something to keep the players interested. I mean there are that many sports games out there they need to do something to stand out.
