Injustice: Gods Among Us dated for April next year

Injustice: Gods Among Us will arrive in April 2013 for PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360, according to Warner Bros Interactive.

The game sees characters such as Batman, Superman and more fighting against each other in a giant gore fest, although it'll include a proper story too.

We expect this one to be pretty spectacular or at least we hope it will be.

So, basically this is Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe, but without the Mortal Kombat, disappointing.

Never played that one, glad I didn't lol. I'm keeping a eye on this. You never know they might have learned from their mistakes from MK vs DC.

more of a marvel man myself, but this is looking good. still can't believe DC are allowing their characters to be mutilated, esp after they banned it from mortal kombat vs DC universe.

I cannot see the issue with this game. Everyone comparing it to the MK V DC universe needs to remember this is how the comics are often portrayed. Most DC Heroes also work off the 'Never Kill' rule so asking for fatalities is problematic to the universe. Treat the game for what it is and not what you 'think' it should be.

Hm. I guess it has potential. The last MK game was one of the best Narrative experiences I have ever had... In a fighting game. Which I know isnt saying much, but still, it was an achievement. So lets see if this has some interesting hooks. The fighting doesnt seem that great yet.

Sadly don't expect any gore as it will Teen rated at the highest. Much like DCU Vs MK which they brought out a few years ago, there can be no gore with these characters. Warner Bros would never allow it.

Possibility to be a great game, just hope the gameplay and story isn't a let down. Just really couldn't play the MK Vs. DCU game, as for me I kept thinking they should have made an individual game for each, though to be honest I found the same issue with the SF Vs. Tekken game. Regardless, I can't wait to fight as or at least against Solomon Grundy, as it was one of my favourite fights in Batman: Arkham City! =D

Looked interesting at E3, although I'm no good at 2d fighters. Hoping for a demo, if not then I might have to wait for this one.

Looks good, but they should really give us a game like Marvel Alliance. There's so many possibilities with DC characters but they end up giving us just Mortal Kombat type games.
