Molyneux: What's in my box will change your life forever, but it's not Half-Life 3

We have heard plenty of promises from this man before, most of which have been broken. So what's Peter Molyneux saying now then?

Well, during his Eurogamer Expo talk today, Molyneux has promised that what's inside the box in his new app 'Curiosity: What's inside the box?' will change your life forever.

"it's not money based and it's not Half-Life 3, but it will change your life forever," said Molyneux.

Curiosity 'What's inside the box,' has players chiselling away at cube, with the one player who chisels the final piece getting whatever the price is inside the box.

Players can buy chisels to help them chip away at the chisel quicker, while Molyneux has also said that you'll be able to buy a rather expensive chisel too (which was priced at ?50k last time we heard him talk).

Will your dreams come true?

Curiosity: What's Inside the Box is due out very soon.

The whole point of this is to see how fast whats in the box spreads once it has been opened. I think its an experiment to see how fast the information spreads over social media and other sites. Think it would be funny if the person who finally opens doesnt tell anyone what was in it.

I am actually quite into this. I like the idea of him working on small projects, ones in which expectation is lower and more easily managed. Experimental game design is something lacking from so many titles now, no one wants to push the boundaries in fear of the backlash from the main stream. Dare to dream Peter and keep on talking BS, someone has too!
