Bonus Content revealed for Mass Effect 3 Trilogy

The Mass Effect Trilogy will come with bonus DLC, although the content will be different for each format.

Eurogamer reports that the game will launch November 6 on PC and Xbox 360, although the PS3 version is still currently undated.

Those picking up the PC build will receive the Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station add-ons for the original Mass Effect, a selection of Cerberus Network DLC for Mass Effect 2, which consists of an extra character in the shape of Zaeed, extra missions and bonus weapons. While a multiplayer pass will be included for Mass Effect 3.

Xbox 360 owners meanwhile, only get Mass Effect 2's Cerberus Network pass and a Mass Effect 3 multiplayer pass.

There is no word on what will be included in the PS3 version.

Thats odd. I'd figure if it was old DLC that planned for extra in the trilogy that all consoles would be getting the same. I'd also expect atleast ME1 and 2 to be complete saying their DLC is years old now.

I might have been tempted by the Xbox version if they'd thrown in all the DLC. Still got 2 and 3 anyway, and could pick up 1 for a pittance if I wanted to play it again. It's a bit of a bum deal for anyone who has more than one of the games already really. I especially feel sorry for PS3 owners who have to buy the lot if they want to play the first game, when they will more than likely already have bought 2 and 3.

First game is being released standalone as a budget title on Playstation Store when the trilogy pack comes out. No need for any re-buys.

Sadly not everyone has an internet connection, or hard drive space, specially not those who picked up the cheapo super slim model.

Indeed, but it seems the trilogy box will be a budget release as well. Anyone who has bought Mass Effect 2 and 3 on PS3 and really has to have the first game but doesn't have internet access could probably trade in their copies of ME2 and 3 and pay peanuts for the trilogy box. Whatever the solution, it seems getting ME1 on PS3 isn't going to be too costly.

Total rip off by EA yet again. You can get ME1 with both DLC on disc for about £10. If anything this should have been left till the series was 100% done with then released with all DLC's included but no typical EA trying to con people. And no Ashes DLC included in ME3? S

I thought the Cerberus Network was taken down by EA? This is good for PS3 users tthat haven't bought any of the ME's yet, but it's a bit of a con on EA's part that PS3 gamers who have bought the second and third as they have to buy the trilogy in order to play the first one.

PS3 version is likely going to be next year, but chances are it will have more content than the others out of the box considering the PS3 version of ME1 is likely to be based off the PC version code, which has the DLC included as standard I believe, and the PS3 version of ME2 has all but one of the DLC for that game included as standard, so unless EA are going to send ME2 PS3 back to the development floor just to remove the DLC missions and characters from the code on the Blu-Ray, it's safe to say ME2 will be the special edition already out on PS3. Goes without saying of course that EA won't be giving any version of this release free ME3 DLC though, but they should at least include the 'extended cut' content on the disc.

I have all 3 with all DLC ever released on 360. I am however a massive fan of this franchise and I am more than a little tempted to have these all over again on my PS3. It would be the perfect excuse to play them all over from the start. Though lacking all the DLC would be a bummer, so i would probably have to purchase all that again as well!
