The Xbox 360 version of Medal of Honor: Warfighter will span two discs, according to a new report.
Speaking in an interview with Videogamer, senior designer Ben Jones suggested that the two discs would be used to separate the game's single-player and the multiplayer modes.
"I think that might be a reality for us as well," said, "It's DVD format versus Blu-ray and you're going to see that split at certain times, especially with the amount of content that we're delivering."
In addition to the above, the game will also include an optional HD texture installation, giving those who install it a better overall experience.
"I believe we are [including an optional HD texture installation], but I don't know that we can confirm that," Jones said.
Medal of Honor is using the same engine (Frostbite 2) as Battlefield 3, so perhaps it will come as little surprise that the game will span two discs. In any case both modes will be separated, so it shouldn't be too much of a hassle. Better that than splitting the campaign.
