More footage of Radical's cancelled Jason Bourne game Treadstone emerges

More footage of the cancelled Jason Bourne game, Treadstone has emerged, at the time of cancellation in 2008, it was being developed by Radical Entertainment for Activision.

The previously unseen footage was found by Superannuation on twitter, who had apparently been holding on to it for a while. Treadstone was abandoned during Activision's clean up of all the IP brought in during the Vivendi merger.

The Bourne IP was given back to Ludlum Entertainment, which was then bought by EA, only for them to cancel their own title which was being developed by Chronicles of Riddick and Syndicate makers, Starbreeze Studios.

Wow for 2008 and mid development that's got some pretty good graphics, I feel sorry for free radical they often got the short straw with games that kept being cancelled, before they had to be bought by Crytek UK, such a shame :( and that game is what that awful Bourne Consipiracy game' should have been. Watching that early dev video, wish someone would upgrade that games engine and visuals and take the gameplay styles and mood projected from this video and resurrect the game and release it; doubt it will happen however :(

You're confusing Free Radical with Radical Entertainment, who are still with us and have been responsible for games like Scarface, several Crash Bandicoot games, and Prototype 1 & 2.

A game set in London :( I would have loved that. Something that's missing from this gen.

I remember seeing this on some TV show years ago, thought it looked pretty promising. Unlike True Crime/Sleeping Dogs Activision didn't ditch the developers, just cancelled the game, so they've probably got the code floating around somewhere, and still employ the programmers who made it. I doubt they'll do anything with it though.
