Saying that the 3DS dominated in Japan last week is starting to become an obvious statement, however it happened once again for the period October 8 - October 14, with 3DS having five titles in the top ten.
On top of the charts this week is Square's Bravely Default: Flying Fairy, selling 141,259 copies and knocking last week's number one, Resident Evil 6, down to second place. Resident Evil 6 still managed to shift 92.921 copies on PS3, taking total sales up to 727,854 on the PS3 alone.
On the hardware side, PS Vita is in serious decline and it seems something needs to be done quickly if it is to survive. It's such a shame as the system is absolutely fantastic, but it doesn't seem to be getting the support it needs to compete with Nintendo's 3DS, which itself managed to shift over 79,000 units.
