Disney acquisition Lucasfilm deal won't affect Star Wars: 1313 development

Good news everyone! Lucasarts has issued a statement regarding their involvement in the Disney/Lucasfilm situation, saying that the game that turned many heads at E3 2013, Star Wars: 1313 will not be affected by the deal in any way.

Here's statement issued by LucasArts regarding the Star Wars: 1313 project:

"For the time being all projects are business as usual. We are excited about all the possibilities that Disney brings."


Star Wars: 1313 is expected to launch on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 next year.

I would have thought it was well into development anyway, so they'd have to start from scratch if they did. It'd be pretty shallow to do that

As good and exciting as the Disney deal is, definitely a wise choice keeping things they way they are just now. Looks like a decent game.

I've always had a thing for Star wars games, especially battlefront. So hopefully this one will not let me down. So happy that more films will be coming too :D
