Assassin's Creed III on the Wii U will be getting all the DLC confirmed for other consoles

Ubisoft confirmed today that all Assassin's Creed 3 downloadable content will be released on Wii U.

The French publisher is planning to release five different lots of Assassin's Creed 3 DLC. Three will form "an all-new single-player campaign" which will be made "available as a continual episodic story that will let players experience an alternate history of the American Revolution".

Ubisoft also plans to offer more single player missions via DLC, as well as new maps and characters for the game's multiplayer segment.

Last month, Assassin's Creed III creative director Alex Hutchinson stated that  the Wii U version of the game is "exactly the same", performance wise, as the PS3 and Xbox 360 editions.

really looking forward to Eurogamer's [4-way] face-off on this one.. The specs all point to the Wii U version being the best console port but we all know that isn't always the case with multiplats and new tech..... Still can't be as bad as the Orange Box, Bayonetta & Skyrim conversions..... can it? (Disclaimer: I own all 3 [current] consoles, play mostly on my PS3, so i'm fully aware i'm having a dig at my most played/loved console, so please don't think i'm flame war baiting)
