AC III: Liberation bug may wipe your save file

It's being reported across the web that Assassin's Creed III: Liberation, on PS Vita has a few nasty bugs which could lose players their save file.

One bug sees heroine Avelie de Grandpre being trapped in the Animus loading screen. Apparently this bug appears when players attempt to reload after Avelie dies, or when they try to load progress from the main menu. Apparently the bug has appeared for quite a few people after several hours of play, meaning that you could lose a lot of progress.

Ubisoft have been made aware of the problem, in the meantime though it's best to save your game regularly and back-up until the publisher gets around to releasing a patch. It's a pity this bug has appeared, since Liberation is a great game, but we are sure it'll be fixed soon.

it's a disgrace that games are constantly releasing with bugs. hope they fix this soon for players.

Pay full price for a game, have it not work upon release. Pay less a few months down the line. Get a (usually) working fine game. Sometimes it's just not worth buying a brand new game.

It seems that these two AC games have more bugs than you can shake a musket at!

A musket stuffed with hemiptera at that.

That's a killer bug, the kind that would make me give up on a game and sell it.

Games have always had bugs. Games have always had game breaking bugs. Its not something I am happy with, but I am pleased we now live in a world where they can be fixed.
