This week's Japanese charts are in and once again things are looking depressing for the PlayStation Vita. Sony's handheld has now dropped to under 5,000 units sold, although this could be due to the fact that there are no actual games being released for the system.
Thankfully a few new colours are coming out in a few weeks, so who knows, maybe that will spark the system to life.
On the bright side for Sony, the PS3 took over the top three in the software charts this week, with Tales of Xillia 2, Okami HD and Yakuza 1 & 2 HD riding high. The PSP even had a presence in the top five, thanks to World Soccer Winning Eleven for PSP, who knows, maybe those PSP owners will eventually move over to Vita once Sony and other developers have finished giving love to the Vita.
Elsewhere Nintendo had a great week, with 3DS getting a huge boost to 93,989 units sold. Now that's how it's done Sony.
Here's the charts.
