PlayStation All-Stars has hundreds of hours of content

PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale will include 'hundreds of hours of content' according to lead game designer Seth Killian.

Posting in the comments section of the PS Blog, in response to questions on his own article, Killian described what users can come to expect from the game.

"Beyond arcade mode with intros, endings, and rival cut-scenes for every character and all the multiplayer stuff, All-Stars has tons of interesting challenges and trials (both overall trials and character-specific stuff). Certainly it's hundreds of hours of content there, and a very extensive set of unlocks, from titles, to taunts, to character-specific intro and outro moves, musical themes, badges, etc."

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is out later this month, pre-order your copy below.

I think he may be exaggerating just a little bit ;)

It probably does include potentially hundreds of hours of content, but a sizeable chunk will come from completing the arcade mode with each character, then the rest will come from having to replay challenges after failing the harder ones a fair few times.

Grinding the game for hundreds of hours to complete it and unlock everything isn't the same thing as hundreds of hours of content though.

Maybe not in our eyes it's not but maybe it is in their eyes. Sou es like they know the game isn't being as well accepted as they thought it would.

Wednesday Night Fights just added a video showing off all the games content (these are tournament players and Seth Killian who worked on the game). Looks awesome and definitely worth buying for an "Alternate Smash" game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqwKF5Mi6xs&feature=g-all-f

Seriously the 23rd can't come soon enough. I've always loved these multi-player brawler fighting games and its a shame there isn't more of them about. I still play Powerstone 2 with my friends to this day and if it has anywhere near the amount of content that game has it'll be even more worth the purchase.

This was the most important news about this game for me. Fighters have started to lack good sp gameplay and this sounds hugely promising, PSASBR is back on my wishlist!
