SEGA to release new classics on PSN and Xbox LIVE

Fighting Vipers, Sonic the Fighters and Virtua Fighter 2 are to release on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.

SEGA's announced that each of the titles are complete versions of the arcade originals and will be upgraded with online multiplayer, achievements and trophies.

The games will arrive first on PSN in the US on November 27, with the Xbox LIVE version following on November 28. Finally PlayStation fans in Europe will get hold of the games on December 5.

You'll be able to pick up the games for 400 Microsoft Points / 3.69 each. There's no word on a PC release.

Wouldn't it be batter for them just to release Fighters Megamix and have done? Fighting Vipers is worth a punt. Sonic Fighters is not great and VF2 has dated badly. You can get a much better and newer version of VF.

Fighting vipers is my favourite saturn game. I remember going to my friends house who owned a saturn instead of a playstation and beating the crap out of each as the ridiculous characters the game has!
