A new game known as The Phantom Pain was last night announced at the Spike VGA's.
The long trailer, shows a man waking up from a coma in a hospital to discover that he has a hook for a hand, while he also finds it difficult to walk. The rest of the video is even more bizarre, although you can check it out for yourself below.
At the start of the video it's shown that the game is being made by Moby Dick Studio and this is were things get interesting. VG247 are speculating that Moby Dick Studio is actually linked to Metal Gear Solid's Kojima due to the fact that the studio, which is located in Stockholm, was founded by Joakim Mogre - apparently "Joakim" is an anagram of "Kojima" and Mogren is a football club in Montenegro which is where the opening of MGR: Revengeance takes place.
To mix add to this speculation, our very own E3 freelancer Alex Rubens said that "There are people in the VIP section of the Konami party wearing Phantom Pain/Moby Dick Studios t-shirts. They aren't talking about anything. And no, they aren't Swedish."
There are no details on the game, although Moby Dick's website does include PS3 and Xbox 360 logos in the footer. There is also no mention of a publisher, which makes things even more mysterious.
