THQ's unannounced games revealed

Following the unfortunate chain of events which saw THQ file for bankruptcy yesterday, some of the games which the publisher has been working on has been revealed.

Of it's four studios new information suggests that Vigil Games, developer of Darksiders, is working on a game known as Crawler (Darksiders 3), while Left4Dead developer Turtle Rock is currently deep in development of a multiplayer shooter to be known as Evolve.

THQ Montreal and Patrice D'silets (of Assassin's Creed development fame) are currently working on a title known as 1666, which is rumoured to be set in London around the time of the great fire.

Finally Company of Heroes maker Relic Entertainment is working on a title known as Atlus, although there's not much else known about this.

Obviously other titles which are known about are still in development, these include Saint's Row 4, Company of Heroes 2, Homefront 2, South Park and Metro Last Light.

It seems like all of the above games are still currently in development and will still arrive at some point in the future. Although this all depends on whether anyone else bids for THQ.

Nothing to get too excited about there, I found Darksiders 2 disappointing after loving the first so not excited by a third, South Park should be good, and hopefully Saints Row 4 can keep up the escalation of the franchise without crashing and burning, but nothing else there takes my fancy.

Really disappointed in Darksiders 2 after loving Darksiders 1 also. Saint's Row 4 is a Buy on Release for me and South Park well it have High Elf Jew as playable class

Poor Turtle Rock. Left 4 Dead put them at superstar developer level in the earlier years of this gen, so to see them in a position like this is rather sad. Why Valve never gave them the green light on another L4D after the success of the first two is a mystery. Valve seem to have abandoned the games making business since Portal 2 from the looks of it.

Only Saints 4 would have had my interest but that was fading as 3 was not up to scratch IMO

Well wasn't Assassin's 3 rumoured to be in London? Could this '1666' title be number 4?

I think that was just wishful thinking about AC3, besides Ubisoft make the AC games, not THQ.

Thq had nothing to do with the AC games, what they meant was Patrice D'silets the game designer are working for them and he worked on the AC games and also metal gear solid 4 among others. Also most of the games that he is involved with are good AC, MGS4 and prince or Persia, so what ever he is working on im sure it will be something worth looking forward to.
