3DS passes 10 million units sold in Japan

According to Famitsu, the 3DS has taken now sold 10 million sales in Japan.

The 3DS failed to take off in Japan when first released due to its higher price range, however since Nintendo cut the price it's went from strength to strength, managing to shift a whopping 10 million units in just 22 months.

Nintendo hasn't broke its own record though, the DS managed to shift 10 million units in 20 months, still we doubt it'll be complaining.

Perhaps Sony can learn something from Nintendo's strategy, as it seems a decent price and a huge line up of quality games makes your handheld a big success.

Doing well, it's hard to believe that there are morons out there that think the 3DS is failing.

I believe the DS also had Diamond and Pearl out at that time in Japan too. Which the 3DS doesn't. Makes it also amazing. No doubt a new Zelda 3DS and Pokemon will help. Also with Fantasy Life apparently selling out in Japan too.
