LEGO Marvel Heroes announced in latest Game Informer

Game Informer Magazine has revealed a brand new LEGO game - LEGO Marvel Heroes.

Despite Warner Bros owning DC Comics, somehow they have managed to agree a deal to bring around a LEGO version of Marvel, for which we are extremely grateful.

"We're very excited to bring a myriad of classic Marvel characters to life in LEGO form for some fun, family-friendly gameplay in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes," said Tom Stone, managing director, TT Games Publishing. "Players will brave the ultimate mission to save the world as they explore famous landmarks in LEGO New York and take the adventure beyond Earth to iconic locations in the Marvel Universe."

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes offers an original storyline and will allow players to unlock more than 100 characters such as Spider-Man, Iron Man, Wolverine, Captain America, the Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Deadpool, Loki and Galactus.

Exciting eh?

Hadn't occurred to me at all (although in hindsight it was inevitable). Very excited about it though! Only surprise is that they are making it as general as 'Super Heroes'. Would make more sense money wise to do an Avengers version, then Spider-Man, X-Men etc all as separate releases.

They had the Lego sets out for some time so not so much of a surprise. But wow there's quite a lot coming out in terms of Lego games. This, Lego City for Wii U and that Ninja Babies or whatever the other was. Wouldn't be surprised to see a tie in for the Hobbit and Back To The Future (once the sets get released) get announced too

Got to agree, with Davey, how many of them are there now, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Batman, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean and Lord of the Rings just off the top of my head, and they are all very samey.

Thoroughly enjoyed Lego LOTR but now that i have done it there isn't much left to do, Kinda worried it would be the same for this. Great idea though and i think it attracts a large audience, so should sell very well.

as long as Lego games carry on being good solid sellers for both kids and adult alike i imagine they will keep snapping up licences for these. wish they would do Lego Aliens (without Prometheus!!) really looking forward to this though!
