Dead or Alive 5 Plus to support Cross features of PS Vita

Dead or Alive 5 Plus will support Cross Play, Cross Save and Cross Buy DLC.

It's good to see a developer other than Sony take advantage of PS Vita features such as these, and what it means for users is that you'll be able to save games across the PS Vita and PS3 version, as well as share DLC content between the two. In fact you'll also be able to challenge players on PS3 from your Vita. Pretty impressive.

Dead or Alive 5 Plus is due to release this March.

"It's good to see a developer other than Sony take advantage of PS Vita features such as these" - Not to nitpick Joe, but Capcom also implemented these features in Street Fighter X Tekken on Vita, so it's not like it's only been Sony using them until now... just feels like it. Still, cross-play at least should be a required feature on Vita fighters from now on. The (strongly rumoured) upcoming Tekken Tag 2 port had best have it at least.

sounds great love the crossbuy program as well.

Crossbuy is awesome but so far with DOA all you have is a lot of costumes that cost far too much money. They know you want to see Ayane as a schoolgirl and Tina as a nurse, so they make you pay for your perversions.

The vita needs games. Who would shelve 200 plus pounds on something without very strong games, but this cross play thing adds extra incentive.

All Sony has to do for me to buy a Vita is bring Digimon Re-Digitize and the new Digimon Adventure game that's in development over here and make them Vita only (no PSP) then and only then will i buy a vita

If you think the Vita doesn't have strong games, you are sadly mistaken. Persona, Uncharted, Gravity Rush, Little Big Planet, Unit 13, Ninja Gaiden, Marvel vs Capcom, Blazblu, Metal Gear & Zero Escape are 10 that spring to mind.

Persona is so great. I just got finished with it and it's honestly one of the best games I've played in years.

Persona is amazing, props to you for finishing it. I have played it for hours and hardly scratched the surface.
