Scribblenauts Unlimited delayed in Europe

Nintendo has issued a short statement to announce that Scribblenauts Unlimited has been delayed in Europe.

"We are sorry to announce that Scribblenauts Unlimited, a game developed by Warner Bros. Interactive & 5th Cell and published by Nintendo of Europe for both Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, will be delayed in Europe.

"It has come to light that some changes need to be implemented within the game before we launch them across Europe. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and we hope to make further announcements on the European launch of these games very soon."

No new date has been given for the game which was supposed to release on Wii U this week.

Just ordered the last Scribblenauts to get in to so not overly bothered by this. But really disappointing on the whole really. I wonder what the changes are?

Wow, that's a really LATE delay. I'm guessing they found something seriously wrong, as distributors would of probably had their copies by now? I guess its something a patch can't fix.

Thats a shame I was kinda looking forward to this game but very strange to delay it 4 days before release as I am sure the game has been out in America since launch of the Wii U.

I wonder if it relates to spelling differences between the UK and US? Like 'colour' and 'color?'

Not as though they knew when the Wii U was getting a release, was it? I dunno, sometimes you do wonder what these companies are doing with their time! There isn't any excuse about US and European differences, most of us have known about grammatical differences for decades - has gaming only just realised? ;)

That's what people assumed it was for. But they did this last time. About 2 weeks before launch they delayed it back for 'unknown' reasons.

Not too bothered, there's plenty enough Wii U games coming for me in the next couple of months to keep me occupied till it finally arrives.

I think the main problem is that you've added another month or so on top of the wait since November 2012 for an actual exclusive Wii U game to be released. When you think about it, its pretty appalling. Im a HUGE Nintendo fan..but this launch has been a shambles (especially in Europe).

I didn't say it wasn't bad, just that I'm not bothered by it, I can't afford to be buying games every week, and there are games I want more than this coming soon that I need to save my money for.

Wasn't this the reason why it was delayed the first time? Due to unknown reasons? I was happily expecting shopto to send me an email confirming they were prepping it for dispatch. Instead this :/ I can understand this being delayed more than the likes of Persona Arean/4/Fire Emblem etc etc etc. Due to them pretty much HAVING to translate it from American to English. But it seems it's a different reason. And if reviews are concerned it''s not even that big deal of a game anyways. Oh well. Ken's Rage is supposed to be this friday too right?
