On the software side it's the 3DS which rules as usual, taking top spot thanks to Animal Crossings continuous sales. Level 5's Fantasy Life takes second spot, while DMC takes third. Interestingly PlayStation All-Stars manages to land at number five, although sales aren't exactly high.

wouldn't it be amazing if China were permitted to play Xbox and PS i imagine the game sales market would boom like the Japanese

If China were permitted to play Xbox and PS there would be so many dodgy fake consoles in China. They dont seem to take copyright laws to seriously over there.

Not as big a fall this week for Wii U, but it is still falling in sales week on week since it came out. Wonder what figure it'll stabilise at... if it stabilises at all of course...

Nice to see 'PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale' in at number 5 + PS3 at 18K? Not bad, but hopefully on the 20th it will get a price cut Worldwide(+ including the 12 GB PS3 will go Worldwide to, because it's confusing why SONY don't want to sell the 12GB PS3 in the US & Japan for???) Hmm...

The Vita is pretty much dead in the water everywhere, isn't it? It's a shame, because it's a lovely bit of kit with some great games.

I believe the 3DS does exceptionally well in the Japanese culture as many people are boxed up like drones; living in tiny apartments where space is at a premium.

It's surprising how it does affect vision - on top of warnings about under 7s playing these handhelds, excessive play does affect people's eyes. I used to get a similar thing happen way back on the Atari Lynx - blurred vision for quite a few minutes after playing for a while. Not good for you..
