Robert Bowling working on Breach & Clear with Mighty Rabbit

Robert Bowling, the former community manager for Infinity Ward, has announced his first game with new studio Mighty Rabbit Studios is an iOS and Android shooter called Breach & Clear.

The game is apparently a 'Tactical Strategy game' with special forces from around the world taking on a various terrorist groups.

"We're hoping to change the conversation about what denotes a mobile game," says Bowling.

"With Breach & Clear, we've taken the design principles of creating a major console release and transferred that to a title that just so happens to be launching on mobile devices.

"Our focus is to take a gameplay experience and mechanic that is built from the ground up for mobile or touch control and enhance it with the depth and progression you'd expect from a AAA console release," added Bowling.

Breach & Clear is due for release on Android and iOS in northern spring.

Bowling left Infinity Ward to form Robotoki; its first game, Human Element, is due in 2015.

2015? Isn't that a bit too long to wait, by that time mobile games would be developed even further where the games will be on par with console quality games

Never been a fan of mobile games, althought that is whats "hot" at the moment, heres hoping it dies out and we can resume the tradition of big games on consoles and little 30 second puzzle games from mobiles

Since the days of snake on Nokia, I've never wanted to waste time on mobile games since. Even spending a few quid (equivalent to new mobile game prices) can get you some classic console games, now.
