Oh dear, whilst I'm sure this will be a perfectly good third person scifi game, despite Spock looking like he's taking a crap in stealth mode, it's just not Star Trek. Star Trek is not an action franchise, even though JJ Abrams thinks differently, and is much more suited to something strategic.

The previous Star Trek films never got a look all those years ago; and now that its got its re-boot (hate the term) it's suddenly a completely different franchise altogether. Feeling more like Star Wars by the movie - which ironically - will share the same director in 2015/16! ;)

JJ Abrams really needs shooting, the only thing I've seen he's been involved in that wasn't complete rubbish was Fringe, but I'm pretty sure he was hands off on that one.

Characters do seem to crouch way more than anyone has the right to in reality. Their knees and back must be made of steel!

i have always been more of a star wars fan myself, the only reason i would think abotu venturing into this is it Start trek being mentioned alot on the big bag theory. I love that show!!

Stars Wars wins over Star Trek (for me, personally) but both have their own merits! It's Sci-fi!

Star Wars is more fantasy than scifi really, the prequel trilogy tipped it that way.

Not always, occasionally somebody gets it right, sadly this is not one of those times.

Well the majority of movie licenced games are terrible, even new ones that are releasing for example, expandables 2 is a perfect example and battleship as well. Only good one I've seen is the dark knight rises which is an iOS and Android game.

maybe command and conquered in space would be more apt

The game looks terrible to me. I'm sure it's going to have a lot bugs, bad AI and gameplay isn't going to be satisfying. It's may be like another Alpha Protocol which was a terrible game

This game doesn't look like it's "boldly going" to fix video game movie tie-ins :/ shame

Like the Matrix trilogy - a visual feast on the eyes, but games never captured the same spirit.

matrix games were very poor maybe though someone like rocksteady or viscreal should give it a go

Does anyone else think this has a slight Mass Effect feel to it?
