Rayman Legends to get Online Challenge Mode; free for Wii U

Wii U owners are to get free access to an new Rayman Legends Online Challenge Mode.

The mode is expected to arrive for free in April, exclusively on the Wii U eShop. The new mode allows for up to five players, includes online leaderboard support, and will hopefully make up for the delay of the game.

Rayman Legends was recently delayed until September to allow for a multiplatform release.

Ubisoft dont seem to know when to let it drop either release it or keep quiet until the September release date. They are trying to hard to please the Wii U people about the delay when they could easily fix it by just releasing it.

Online challenge mode? No thanks, totally lost interest in this game now between Ubisofts stupid decisions and playing some Rayman Origins and remembering why I wasn't impressed with it the first time.

Big "meh" from me..... not just this but Origins and Legends as well. So overrated this series....

Announcements like this scream "Damage Control" to me. Trying to quell the flow of hate being directed towards publisher and franchise alike over the delay.

Yep, too little too late though.

Seems a decent thing to do on Ubi's part when they didn't have to. Not like they owe Wii U owners anything is it?

Nobody with a Wii U will care about Rayman Legends by April, we'll be too busy playing Lego City and Monster Hunter.

So you can get the DLC in april, but still have to wait till September to use it. Well done Ubi...

Think it means it will be like a more expanded demo type thing.

Free is Free. But this is too little too late. Especially when the game is sitting ready.
