Battlefield 4 shown off behind closed doors

EA has been showing off Battlefield 4 behind closed doors and it sounds like it might be a little big incredible.

"Got to see Battlefield 4 today and all I can say is wow. Thanks EA for the sneak peek. Can't wait for you all to see it," GameStop CEO J Paul Raines commented via Twitter account.

Battlefield 4 was obviously on the way so perhaps EA are comfortable with Raines tweeting it out, in fact the EA account even retweeted it.

No platforms have yet been confirmed for the game, although we wouldn't bet against the next Xbox and PlayStation being part of the plan.

other than the glitches, lag, screen tear, audio problems, that's even the 2 or 3 huge patches, not much. There's also the pointless and short singlelayer and co-op modes

What can you expect from such massive game with good visuals. It's gonna have some grey areas but I would rather play that than COD. Co-op could have been a bit more thought out but I enjoyed the single player

Not sure about the PC, but the visuals are nothing worth mentioning in BF3 mp on consoles, neither are the sp visuals. And suicide glitches, blurry textures and screen tearing are beyond grey areas. The game was shipped broken, and it has plenty of fixing needed. Not that it will get fixed now. Hopefully BF4 is an improvement

I have it on PC and Xbox. i find its still a very good game even if your saying it has moderate visuals. you can hardly say this game is a failure, name me one FPS that is equal if not better than BF3 on xbox that has no glitches. Even so BF4 i believe wil be better and a vast improvement.

I didn't play the latest Battlefield, but didn't it get equally 'wow' responses when it was shown at E3?

Make something new please

Why get rid of a game that people still want to play when you are improving it year on year?

Dayum that guy's lucky, just a bit skeptical at the moment about the time between releases for this Battlefield game. I hope DICE doesn't start to pull an Activision on us because of EA wanting to milk the franchise, resulting in lower than par games.

I'm a bit unsure about this one. #3 was playable but the campaign was missing something. I don't know what....I guess I just prefer Bad Company. I might give BF4 a go though if it looks good. We'll see. Would be good to see it on the next gen consoles :)

Think everyone has there own preference. I did like bad company but I still prefer this one. I think it was missing the whole comradery thing from bad company but other than that I liked the single player.

bad company was more amusing than anything, with some great comedy moments. the other storys are ok too though

Number 3 had a terrible story, i just couldn't wait for it to end. The online was ok though, and i suppose that is what they tend to focus on. Make it anything close to how good bad company was and i will be a satisfied customer,

I enjoyed the campaign, thought it was better than the likes of COD.

lucky bugger! Battlefield has always been the better game to me. i like the use of vehicles especially the jet in the latest one. so much more fun than call of duty when you can play with your friends

will probably be shown to the rest of us soon. it will be on xbox 360 and ps3 100% due to the battlefield 4 beta incentive and the massive amount of people on those systems.

Will be cool hopefully they don't do the same thing with Battlefield 3 where people were able to make there own servers on the consoles because if i want that I may as well get it on PC =/
