Playstation 4, DualShock 4 and PS4 Eye official specifications released


After last night's Playstation Meeting where Sony finally revealed the much rumoured Playstation 4 and a selection of first and third party titles, Sony has sent over the official specifications list for the console, controller and new Playstation Eye camera.




Here's the PS4 official specs list:

Still not sure how I'm gonna pause games XD I'm assuming this is part of the touch pad? Controller suuuure looks nice tho.

It lets you pause by pressing the PS button. You can then go into a 'rest' mode with your PS3 if you want, instead of turning it off, and can carry on straight from where you left off when you turn ti back on.

What if you want a quick pause to get a drink or a bite to eat, I know the console's supposed to come straight back on, but I don't wanna have to 'switch it off'.

You press the PS button and it pauses the game. You THEN go and put it in to rest mode. You don't HAVE to.

i think the new pad looks very good , its still simular to the old pad and not changed to much which is a good thing

looks good but at 210g? is that not lighter than the last controller.....i didn't like the last controller as it felt so flimsy. also having a touch pad on the controller. sounds good but in the long run will this be a bad idea? will not make the controller more prone to breaking etc

It is about 20g heavier than the dualshock 3.
