Most seem to have missed it, but at the beginning of the PlayStation 4 Conference last night, SCE's Andrew House took time to talk briefly about the PS Vita.
We didn't get much information but he basically said that Sony feels that the PS Vita can bring significant value to users living room experiences. He said that these experiences can happen on a console or handheld device.
"The operating system and chipset inside the PS Vita is so powerful that we think it could bring significant value to gamers living room experiences, we know the potential for expanding PS Vita to the living room is real and promises to bring amazing gameplay and multimedia," said House.
"We'll be talking more about this exciting initiative later this year, but it's safe to say that we will continue to unlock PS Vita's potential."
It seems certain that there is more to the PS4 and PS Vita connectivity that we know of so far and it also seems likely that we'll hear more about this at E3.
