Soul Sacrifice to get 10 free dlc boss battles

Soul Sacrifice will be available in Japan on March 7 and Sony has today announced that it'll be supported with plenty of free content, including 10 boss battles which will be distributed via PlayStation Network.

In addition to the above, Siliconera also reports that Sony will support the game with paid DLC, with new episodes being made available after release.

Soul Sacrifice is due for release on April 30 in North America and May 1 in Europe.

You can pre-order your copy below.

I don't really understand this, why not just pop it onto the disc (or whatever the Vita uses)? Hopefully it'll already be on it when it comes here. Because the memory cards seem so expensive, DLC feels like it could be a bit of a nightmare for the Vita owners. My Vita should be coming tomorrow, can't wait. :)

To keep people playing the game in the weeks and months following release so they'll be less likely to trade it in before they get a chance to buy some of that easy money paid DLC presumably.

What you say makes perfect sense. It's just that since they're already talking about it, it makes you wonder if it could be done in time for release. The idea that they could have saved us some card space is a real bummer. :p

Wow free DLC. Gotta give it to these devs for actually giving DLC for free. Thought such a thing had become an urban legend.

Time to dust off the old Vita! If this can live up to the promise of filling the gaping hole that Monster Hunter has left me with (with its departure to the 3DS) I will be there day 1! This is just more incentive to do so :)
