Black Ops II and FIFA 13 are biggest entertainment products of year to date


Call of Duty: Black Ops II and FIFA 13 have been revealed as the two biggest entertainment releases of the year.

Both titles comfortably outsold the popular Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises, which was placed as the third best selling entertainment product of the year.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II was the biggest seller, managing to sell 2.67m units so far, while FIFA 13 sold 2.6m units. The Dark Knight Rises was well behind, selling 1.2m copies.

As you can see from the chart below, movies to dominate the chart, with the odd mainstream game making an appearance in between.

Brilliant for FIFA when you consider Black Ops 2 has a bigger 'market' than what FIFA does. For all the jip this COD gets too, it's doing very well indeed.
