Everybody's Golf Vita to get a new Kat

Everybody's Golf on the PS Vita is brilliant. That's a fact. Gravity Rush is also brilliant, that is also a fact. So how great would it be if somehow someone could blend the two together with some Kat based DLC? Guess what, your dreams are about to come true.

Sony has announced that now only will a new patch be released to add a new Turn Based Challenge and additional gameplay, but soon you'll also be able to play as Kat from Gravity Rush.

Let's talk details, first up here's all the information you need on what the patch will add:

Turn-based Challenge

With "Turn-based Challenge" mode, you can now challenge your friends in an asynchronous competition and play head to head, hole by hole.

Players can now also set up 20 different parallel games at any given time. To avoid cheating, there are no re-dos, similar to Daily Tourneys. Short messages (like SMS) are also now enabled, as well as competitive score history between friends.

Additional gameplay updates include:

- Four-player stroke mode enabled in the multiplayer rooms
- A slot mode added to the online/adhoc, enabling a slot machine style handicap system applied per hole to keep the game interesting in case there is an imbalance between player skills
- A new visual lobby has been added in the online space, as well as there being tweaks to the game balance

New DLC content

The classic Mt. Sakura returns from Everybody's Golf on PS2, along with Northern Fox. A brand new golf course named Mar Cielo is also to be added. Finally, new characters will also be added to the game: Erika, Gloria and the previously mentioned Kat from the PS Vita fan-favourite Gravity Rush.

These new courses and characters will be available next Wednesday when PlayStation Store updates. Each character will cost 0.75 Euros, with the courses going for 2.49 Euros each. You'll be able to grab the whole set for 7.49 Euros.

If you haven't checked out Everybody's Golf on PS Vita yet then pre-order below.

If this is free then great. Not worth it if you have to pay. Everybody's Golf is actually the most played game on the Vita. It makes a great stop gap on the way to Mario Golf later this year.
