Primal Carnage: Genesis announced for PS4

Sony has announced Primal Carnage: Genesis for the PlayStation 4. Developed by Lukewarm Media and powered by Unreal Engine 4, the game brings the world of dinosaurs to the PS4.

Apparently the game, which will be an FPS, will offer a mix of linear gameplay and open-world exploration. The title will be delivered in episodic content, much like Telltale's The Walking Dead series.

"From towering behemoths like the brachiosaurus and the tyrannosaurus rex to smaller creatures like the velociraptor and the dilophosaurus, there is no doubt that there is something magical about the creatures of the prehistoric world," were the words that Lukewarm founder Ashton Andersen used to describe the game.

Exciting.

Potentially interesting, but 'dinosaurs are back'? They never went away, they just got boring.

By that logic vampires should be cool again, but Twilight still exists.

I just don't understand why the hell they'd capture a dinosaur, and then put it in that bad a container? I'd love a PS4 Far Cry version of a dinosaur game. Running through the jungle and trying to avoid dinosaurs, before you build up your courage to smash a few.

Probably more of a Jurassic Park job and the dino is cloned rather than captured.

Well, it's in a giant tank and it had sufficient security for what was there, a sleeping dinosaur... no point in having 82 tanks and mounted machine guns for something that isn't alive yet. Clearly there was a Wesker style inside job.

Please describe the nature of the abuse:
