Guacamelee gets launch date for PS3 and Vita

Drinkbox Studios has announced that its excellent looking PS Vita and PS3 title Guacamelee, will be released on April 10.

Guacamelee features a down on his luck Mexican named Juan Aguacate, who sets out to save the world when El Presidente's Daughter is kidnapped by an Evil Charro Skeleton named Carlos Calaca. The story takes place in and around a small village in Mexico, and has the player swapping between dimensions known as "The Living World' and "The Dead World" on his quest to rescue the girl he loves.

The game will support Cross-Buy, meaning that if you buy the game once you'll get both the PS3 and PS Vita versions, even more exciting for those trophy hunters out there is that it includes a Platinum Trophy.

Check out the launch trailer below.
