It's like a poorly executed Burnout... like Most Wanted.

I hate free to play games, they're rarely finish-able due to my unwillingness to pay any money

"It's like a poorly executed Burnout... like Most Wanted." - I thought Most Wanted was pretty awesome myself... but then I also enjoyed Ridge Racer Unbounded, which no one liked for some reason. I'm actually keeping my fingers crossed that there'll be a new Ridge Racer at the PS4 launch as per tradition and that it'll be an Unbounded sequel... but if they're dumping the series in the F2P mire like this, it feels a bit less likely to happen.

I liked Most Wanted, I reviewed it on here, but it was trying to fill the void of Burnout without being Burnout.

Most Wanted, like Hot Pursuit before it, was Burnout in all but name, problem was it was another crappy open world Burnout.

I loved Paradise, it was an amazing open world racing game, the problem with Most Wanted was the length of the game which was pathetic and Hot Pursuit was absolutely amazing.

"I loved Paradise, it was an amazing open world racing game," - I agree. Best Burnout title by a long way imo.

I've only ever played Paradise and I really enjoyed it and I'm not a huge racing fan. Only previous racing games I've enjoyed are NFS: underground 2, Mario Kart and GT5.

Burnout Paradise was technically excellent, but, call me old fashioned, finding the quickest route to a point isn't racing. Imagine the chaos if they just cleared the whole of Monaco for the GP and let the drivers pick their own route.

If they let drivers pick their own route for a circuit race in Monaco they would probably pick the same route as it is the quickest.
