It's Friday, which generally means a lack of news and plenty of celebrating as we head towards the weekend and two days of quality gaming time.
We've managed to catch a bit of news today, most of which has been trailers of some sort. Hopefully the big news will start to trickle in soon though, we are getting closer to E3 after all and we reckon MS will probably have something to tell us before then.
In the meantime we have loads of reviews coming up and a few previews too. Oh and there may be a new game announce soon (although we couldn't possibly say).
So let's round up the news that we've missed.
Soul Sacrifice Demo announced
You may have guessed that the code we previewed recently was in fact a demo. Well the good news is that you'll be able to test out the demo yourself from Friday, April 17.... surprise.
We recommend that you do test this game out, because it's pretty ace and will no doubt leave you with a taste for more.
Black Ops 2 Double XP Weekend
Activision is hosting a Double XP Weekend for Black Ops 2 starting now and running through until Monday, April 15 at 10.00am PST. The Double XP weekend is for all formats, including Wii U, so no matter where you are playing, you won't miss out.
Eden Games has closed
Alone in the Dark And Test Drive Unlimited studio, Eden Games, has closed. Eurogamer claims that local authorities put the Lyon-based development outfit into liquidation back in January. Last year the publisher denied reports that it had shut the studio.
Good luck to all those affected.
That's about it really. Friday's are generally quiet when it comes to gaming news, so we haven't missed too much. We'll bring you a weekend Newsround on Sunday if there is anything to write about. But until then, enjoy the weekend.
