Fez sells 200,000 on Xbox LIVE

Xbox LIVE puzzle platformer Fez has sold 200,000 copies since its release.

Creator Phil Fish posted the figure up in a recent blog post, thanking players for their support, as well as revealing that the developer is currently "gearing up" for the PC release on May 1, where it's hoping the game will reach more people than ever before!

"We're super excited to finally set the game free on all these other platforms (PSN/Vita, etc). If you haven't played it yet, i hope you will!"

Have you played Fez yet?

I haven't played Fez yet, I'd like to give a special mention to MS XBLA practices that they only allow stuff to publish if it is on their platform first.

The guy is one of the biggest assholes in the gaming industry right now. So as far as I'm concerned he doesn't deserve my money at all.

PS3/Vita version? News to me. Might double dip as it's a pretty sweet little game... even if Fish was a bit of an asshole about the patching on the XBLA version (Thankfully didn't encounter any bugs myself though).

Fez was OK, got a bit confusing for me though, but the guy's a dick.

I played the Fez trail back when it was released, but despite really enjoying it, for some reason I never purchased it. But if it ends up being released on the PS Vita, then I may be tempted.

Fantastic game, too bad we have to support Fish in order to play it!
