Rate the Rumour: Batman Origins to include multiplayer

It's being reported that Batman: Arkham Origins will include some form of multiplayer.

According to a source 'close' to Kotaku, players will be able to take control of a villain take on the likes of Batman and Robin.

Further details suggest that during at least one section of multiplayer, you play as a member of Joker or Bane's - who may be playable and customizable and include the likes of Killer Croc, Deadshot, Firefly, Black Mask, Deathstroke, and "some kind of Electroman character."

You can rate this rumour below if you wish.

1 - No Chance
2 - Unlikely
3 - Hard to Tell
4 - Possibly
5 - Definitely

Batman: Arkham Origins is due to launch in October on PS3, PC, Wii U and Xbox 360.

3 - hard to tell. i think it would be a gamble but i dont think you can completly rule it out, if they think it will work they will put it in there no questions asked i personally dont think its a good idea concentrate on a solid single player experiance that tops the last 2 games is what i say!

3 - its hard to tell, but I hope not. It does not need it (if the single player campaign stands up to the previous two games). Just like God of War didn't need it & Bioshock didn't need it.

God of Wars added on multiplayer is actually fun. I just don't know what they'd do to make this multiplayer though, it's not exactly multiplayer friendly if it is anything like AA and AC.

4- If done well, it could be really fun. I've always thought the Batman villains were misunderstood and simply protecting themselves from a batgimpsuit wearing weirdo.

Not to sure what to make of this, but as long as it doesn't effect the singleplayer campaign in no kind of way, then I dont mind.

5 (Maybe 4). Multiplayer was planned for this series since the first game but never got included for various reasons. It wouldn't surprise me if this release's main purpose was to establish a multiplayer component before the next "main" Rocksteady developed Batman title arrives.

Probably a 5, tacked on multiplayer is popular right now, I actually thought the stealth challenges on Asylum would have been better as multiplayer with 7 players as henchmen to 1 Batman.

1 God i really hope not, game like these don't need it, why put something in you don't need a most probably be really bad one way of destroying the game.

I never really get the above opinion. Nobody forces you to play online, so it is in no way destroying of a game.

4 - Possibly. Hoping it doesn't have it, wouldn't improve the game for me at all, plus I hate it when there is a constant stream of multiplayer DLC and no single player DLC

4 - probably. I wouldn't want to see a multiplayer. Batman works alone ;) (most of the time anyway)
