The Subways and more added to Truck Festival line-up

Truck Festival has just released the latest version of this year's line-up, with the addition of The Subways being the most prominent change.

The indie rock band will share the stage with previously announced headliners, Spiritualized and The Horrors this summer.

The latest line-up announcement also brings us news that Fonda 500, Thomas Truax and Luke Smithwill be amongst those playing the event's new 'Veterans and Virgins' tent, which will also play host to a number of acts handpicked by BBC Introducing.

You can find details on the full line-up so far - which includes the likes of Ash, The Joy Formidable, TOY, We are the Ocean and Arcane Roots - on DIY, who are teaming up with Truck Festival for this year's event.

Truck Festival is set to take place on July 19 and July 20 at Hill Farm in Oxford.

It's the first day, and musical taste is a massive variety, Some stories will get no comments and others many.

I used to love the Subways. They had a great first album and then fell off the planet. Then came back and did an even better second one. And then did exactly the same again. I doubt they'll pull it off a third time.

In fact they fell so far off the planet I didn't even know they had a third album.
