Respawn Entertainment say "We're Just Fine" after EA Layoffs

Respawn Entertainment has said it's "business as usual," for the developer, despite a huge round of layoffs at EA.

The developer took to twitter to reassure fans that it's upcoming game and staff had not been effected by the bad news coming out of EA.

"We're just fine, no need to worry about us," said the tweet, before continuing, "Always sad to hear about layoffs in other places though."

EA yesterday confirmed a whole load of layoffs at PopCap Vancouver, while QuickLime has been closed down. No mention was made of layoffs at EA Partners as far as we can tell.

Never good to see devs losing their jobs, especially when it's not the devs I have but the guys at the top. But, Respawn may be EA's next big money spinner, they wouldn't lay off these guys
