Latest Reading & Leeds additions announced

The latest additions to this year's Reading & Leeds line-up were announced on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show last night, alongside the release of a more complete poster.

It was announced that Spector would headline one day of the Festival Republic stage, with Crystal Fighters and British Sea Power headlining on the other two. Merchandise, Parquet Courts, Drenge, Surfer Blood, Kate Nash, Mo, MS MR and Half Moon Run are all amongst other performers that will perform on the stage.

The announcement also brought a few main stage additions, with Skindred, Lower Than Atlantis, We Are in The Crowd and Bury Tomorrow all joining the bill.

Elsewhere, we now know that Alkaline Trio, Shikari Soundsystem and Tomahawk will headline the Lock-Up stage. Shikari Soundystem is a dance alter-ego of Enter Shikari, who are well known for mashing genres and their well-received live performances.

As always, the Reading & Leeds festivals will take place over the August bank holiday weekend. Green Day, Eminem and Biffy Clyro are headlining the main stage. Venture, here, here and here to see what we've got on offer in our store.

Out of the ones announced last night, I know about 4 of them lol. Eminem was brilliant at T in the Park though so anyone going should be in for a good time. Also Biffy Clyro are also great.

I saw eminem in like 2003 at the Bowl, was awesome. But I kind of fell out of love with the whole genre sop stopped listening! Back to rock and metal in my house. Download Fest or GTFO! haha! Gutted I can't do download this year!

Yeah Cypress Hill were very good that night especially as they had to improvise as a lot of the equipment failed when I went to see them. 50 Cent and D12 as well shame there was no Dr Dre.

I've never really fell out with the rap industry, I still enjoy it and certain rappers. But Eminem is the one that constantly releases good music, even with different styles in each of his albums.

I use to be able to hear Reading festival from my house when I lived there. Remember the bottles of pee raining down on Daphne & Celeste! Well comeon who put them there
