Competition Monday - Win ShopTo Points

Welcome to Competition Monday, our new weekly competition which consists of a few ways to win. All prizes consist of the chance to win points for your account. Here is what you need to do to enter either or if you wish, both competitions.

Competition 1: Comment to Win

As you no doubt know by now, our comment to win competition gives you the chance to win a prize in exchange for posting comments using your ShopTo account.

We understand that sometimes it's easier just to leave a comment on Facebook or Twitter and continue the conversation over there. But we'd love it if you make use of our news site to comment, so this is why we love to give you all a little incentive - the chance to win 3000 points on your ShopTo account.

Each week we will look at all the comments we have received from you, our readers, and as a reward we'll be giving away 3000 points to someone completely at random. As long as you have posted in a sensible way you'll be in with a chance and obviously the more you comment, the more chance you have of being spotted.

So that's it. Easy.

The only rule is don't post spam and stay on topic. No-one like spam after all, plus if you want to talk about other subjects we have plenty of ways to do so (our off-topic and let's chat posts).

Competition 2: Review of the Week

Adding to the competition above is review of the week competition.

The title explains it all really. Basically, all you need to do is choose a game to review and get writing. Once you are happy with your review then simply post it in the customer reviews section on the relevant product page. e.g if you are reviewing FIFA 13 then search for FIFA 13 on ShopTo.net and post your review under the customer review banner.

In order to make it easy for us to pick a winner please try to stick to around 500-700 words. Also, we are not really judging on spelling, paragraphs, punctuation and review length. So even if you have never written a review before and are not confident, then please try.

Once you have followed the simple instructions above then all you have to do is let us know in the comments field below what game you reviewed. We will then choose a winner based on our favourite review and post it up on the news site for everyone to see.

If you are chosen as the winner then you'll win a whopping 10,000 points for your ShopTo account.

That's it really.

We are looking forward to reading your reviews.

I've bit my tongue for weeks! But to have a joke and not say it is a crime. "The winner will be announced on the first Monday of each week" As opposed to which other Mondays in the week may I ask? :)

It's hard choosing what to review as I needs to be on the site (In one way of another) but half of my games that I own aren't even on the site & I haven't even played the other half.

Yes Shep, it really is that bad, worse than Aliens, and without the level of fan service to redeem it in any way.

I have watched video reviews about Star Trek The Video Game. I wasn't expecting the game to be good, and it happened to be so. The characters look stiff (it looks like the faces of the actors are glued to some models, bad skeletal animation). There are hardly shadows, and the environments feels a little bit too bright. This is only the graphics. Then I saw a video of the bugs. I mean, the game was announced like 2 years ago? What were the developers thinking (probably not entirely their fault, time constraints)? I am a fan of Star Trek, I really hoped that this will be a good game. The last Star Trek Game I enjoyed was Star Trek Legacy.

Same, Legacy was ace, with a story spanning the entire franchise and epic space battles, none of this reboot crap.

When i paid £40 for MK i felt it was worth it. I'm just worried about there being no fatalities in this game. Loved them in MK

The super moves, transitions and interactive environment make up for the lack of fatalities. It's a great game, well worth shelling out for.

Theres nothing out at the moment that i'm sure of though Shep, Just checked CEX and they offer £32 cash on trade in. So It only costs £34 on here so going to take Glorias advice and just buy it, Should be on it tomorrow then if everybody here still has it?

Definitely one of the best fighters I have ever played, its easy to pick up and thoroughly enjoyable. Plus it is on my shelf for good now so you can always have me as a fighting companion. It plays just like MK but you can feel the SF in it, combos are simple and working with them to see how you can link them is more fun in this than any other fighter I have played. My advice, just buy it; you will not be disappointed!

Will do Pyro, lol Shep, I'll try and get used to some of the characters and then just focus on one or two of them before I play him. On MK I was really really good with Bakara and Reptile,

Pah Skillz... just a base knowledge of fighters.. no Skills here! I just love fighters as that's what i grew up on with friends, we still play when we meet up except we drink a lot of beer during. I'd like everyone to get it and we can play together like on big happy family!

Tekken 3 is the best fighter ever, Spent so much PS1 time on that game. Have stayed away from most fighting games of this generation other than the occasional Dragonball Z game. So I will be rusty :D I'll be keeping it, might even get the season pass as Lobo ( I think that's his name) is looking pretty awesome.
