UK Charts, w/e April 28: Dead Island rips up charts

This week's latest charts are in and it's Dead Island: Riptide which become's this week's best selling video game.

To be fair, Dead Island: Riptide is a lot of fun. Sure it's not really a big advancement on the original, but if you love bashing zombies up then you probably can't go wrong, which is probably why it finds itself in the top spot.

Elsewhere this week, Injustice: Gods Among Us takes second spot, while Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen takes second spot (we'll have a review for that at some point this morning). Meanwhile, Namco Bandai's Star Trek tie-in makes No.4, followed by Tomb Raider at number five.

You can check out the rest of the top twenty below.

Aww no Deadly Premonition. You people wouldn't know a good game if it slapped you in the face

Number 4 for Star Trek? Must be a lot of annoyed trekkies out there. Nice to see the 3DS Lego City make the top 10, and Luigi still hanging in there too.

wow that has shocked the s**t out of me, i was watching it yesterday thinking it was average at best, yes the co op with mates and a few bevvies would be a laugh but thats about it, so i can see why its sold in a way but doesnt look to good to me! also dragons dogma sitting at 3rd for me is impressive but the price its selling at and the fact it is actually a good game doesnt suprise me either! ALWAYS nice seeing cod out of the top 10 :D

I cant believe Aliens Colonial Marines is still in the top 20 after all the negative press it got. Nice to see Sonic Racing still scrapping away there.

Personally I wouldn't put The Witcher 2 and Dark Souls in the same book as Skyrim

no not the same book, but very time consuming titles, agreed?

The Witcher 2 isn't that long (30-40 Hour I would say) and with Dark Souls it just depends how long it takes you to master the combat

Lol, i gave up on the witcher 2 mid way. I just lost interest which i don't usually have a problem with in RPG's. Need to give Dragons Dogma another chance though.

I have a total of around 500+ hours on dark souls. Please don't tell me it's not a long game! (It's length comes from its replayability) So lookign forward to dks2!
